Thanks to their generosity, St Finbar’s now has its very own personalised gazebo for special events, a professional tablecloth for our trestle tables, and 15 big golf umbrellas to keep us dry during those rainy school pick-ups ☔💙 We’re so grateful for everything you do for our school!

🌟 **Celebrating Student Success!** 🌟 We are so proud of our students who represented our school at the Voice of Youth cluster final at St Thomas Aquinas, Springwood, on Thursday last week. 👏 One of our students received the Social Justice Award for a powerful and thought-provoking speech entitled Beauty Standards. Her words challenged us to reflect on the nature of images presented in media and the impact they have on young people and inspired us to see the dignity and worth in every person. 👏 Another student courageously spoke about disrespect in children’s sport, calling for fairness, respect and integrity on and off the field. Both students demonstrated confidence, passion, and a commitment to making the world a better place. 🌏💙 Congratulations to our Voice of Youth speakers – you have made our whole school community proud! 🎤✨

🎉💯 Hip hip hooray — we've hit 100 Days of Learning at St Finbar's! 🧓👵 Our Kindergarten and Year 1 students have blossomed before our eyes. Not just growing in knowledge, but also in confidence, kindness and curiosity. 🌟💛 **Mini Vinnies in Action!** 💛🌟 Today, our wonderful Mini Vinnies group put their faith into action by doing a special letterbox drop to our local neighbours. As part of their Religion unit *‘Who is my neighbour?’*, they created thoughtful cards with kind messages to remind our community that we are all connected through love, care, and compassion. 🌟 St Finbar’s Celebrates NAIDOC Week 2025 & Coming of the Light 🌟 On the last day of Term 2, our school community came together to honour NAIDOC Week 2025 and celebrate the Coming of the Light Festival. It was a powerful opportunity to acknowledge the rich history, strength, and legacy of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
