🎉✨ **What a way to end the term!** ✨🎉 On Friday we came together as a school community to celebrate St Finbar’s Day, and what a celebration it was! We began the day with a truly beautiful liturgy honouring the life of St Finbar and reflecting on the way his example continues to inspire us to live with faith, compassion, and courage. From there, we were delighted to acknowledge our students who consistently live out the charisms of our school, shining as leaders through their kindness, generosity, and inclusivity. These moments reminded us of the many ways our young people light the way for others each day. 🌟 And then… the celebrations turned into pure joy! Our playground came alive with fun, games, and a carnival-like atmosphere; laughter, colour, and excitement filling every corner of the school. It was the perfect way to finish the term, celebrating not only St Finbar but also the strong sense of community we share. Wishing our community a safe and peaceful holiday break.

🎉👏 Congratulations to **St Finbar’s students** on their incredible achievement! On Monday, our school proudly won the Bebras Cup Challenge; a national competition that celebrates and challenges critical, creative and computational thinking through problem-based scenarios. This success is a testament to the curiosity, perseverance, and teamwork of our students, who embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and determination. ✨ Congratulations to our Confirmation Candidates ✨ Last weekend, a number of our students received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St Finbar’s Parish. It was a beautiful celebration where the candidates were sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit and strengthened in their faith journey. We are so proud of our students for the reverence and joy they brought to this special occasion, and we thank their families, sponsors, teachers, and our parish community for supporting them along the way. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire them as they live out their faith in love and service. 🕊️

🍩 **Donuts for Dads** 🍩 What a joyful afternoon we shared together on Friday, at *Donuts for Dads*! Thank you to all the dads, grandads, father figures, families and friends who joined us for recreation time and a sweet treat, followed by a liturgy. Your positivity, warmth, and smiles filled our school with such a special energy. It was wonderful to see our community come together to celebrate the important role fathers and father figures play in our lives. A huge thank you also to our P&F for organising the delicious donuts with Western Sydney Bakery – they were very much enjoyed! 💛 We are truly blessed to belong to such a supportive and connected community. Thanks to their generosity, St Finbar’s now has its very own personalised gazebo for special events, a professional tablecloth for our trestle tables, and 15 big golf umbrellas to keep us dry during those rainy school pick-ups ☔💙 We’re so grateful for everything you do for our school!

🌟 **Celebrating Student Success!** 🌟 We are so proud of our students who represented our school at the Voice of Youth cluster final at St Thomas Aquinas, Springwood, on Thursday last week. 👏 One of our students received the Social Justice Award for a powerful and thought-provoking speech entitled Beauty Standards. Her words challenged us to reflect on the nature of images presented in media and the impact they have on young people and inspired us to see the dignity and worth in every person. 👏 Another student courageously spoke about disrespect in children’s sport, calling for fairness, respect and integrity on and off the field. Both students demonstrated confidence, passion, and a commitment to making the world a better place. 🌏💙 Congratulations to our Voice of Youth speakers – you have made our whole school community proud! 🎤✨
