We are an inclusive and supportive school where a passion for learning and Gospel values is lived through all we do. We offer an engaging, challenging and meaningful education to prepare our students for the demands of the ever-changing world outside the classroom. Technology is used across the curriculum, and a range of extra-curricular programs is offered to extend and enrich learning opportunities.
We are committed to the education and development of each student. Learning at St Finbar’s is comprehensive and personalised to meet individual student’s needs. Caring and professional teachers instil our students with a strong sense of self. Our focus is the education and welfare of our students, with staff regularly undertaking further study to bring the latest educational practice into the classroom.
We recognise the importance of our faith and that Christ is present in each of our students. The Gospel teachings are at the centre of our being and guide our actions. Our school motto ‘Faith, Truth and Knowledge,’ is lived out daily by students, parents, teachers and parishioners. Students live out our motto through prayer, by regularly engaging in social outreach programs to raise funds, and by assisting those in need in our community. This provides students with a greater awareness of the world around them and their place in it.
