On Sunday 10 September we came together as a community to host our inaugural Amazing Race at St Finbar’s Glenbrook
The weather was amazing and the company even better. The O’Callaghan Family were our master planners and they did a wonderful job creating the event. Competitors roamed the streets of Glenbrook matching images with house numbers; they skirmished through the long jump pit at Glenbrook Oval to find a parachute man to construct and then come back on site to drop onto a target.
Other challenges involved teams identifying characters from books and translating music lyrics as well as paper plane throwing. The day concluded with a bbq supplied by the P & F
We thank the P & F for their generosity of time and providing the BBQ. It is events like this that build community and this is why St Finbar's is such a great place to be.

❄️ Do You Want to Build a Snowman? ☃️ Last week in Kindergarten, our writing stimulus was all about the magic of snow! Students had the chance to play with fake snow and use their imaginations to create their very own snowmen. From tiny snow hats to sparkly scarves, their creations were as unique as their ideas.
