Sharing Hope and Joy This Advent Our wonderful Faith in Action Team, together with our whole school community, has been busy creating handmade Christmas cards to deliver throughout our local area. Reflecting the spirit of Advent, each card carries a simple but powerful message of hope, joy, and connection. Research reminds us that receiving a handmade card can have a meaningful impact, bringing moments of encouragement, warmth, and positivity to wellbeing. Small gestures truly matter. We are incredibly proud of our students for showing what it means to be inclusive, compassionate, and mindful of others beyond ourselves, especially at this time of year. May these cards brighten the days of those who receive them, and may we continue to spread kindness wherever we go.

Today we are sending home donation bags to facilitate our Christmas Appeal. We will be collecting the bags for the next two weeks and placing them at our Giving Tree, until they are collected by St Vincent de Paul.

Western Sydney Catholic Schools hold the phone
Student mobile phone use will be banned across 80 Western Sydney Catholic schools from the beginning of the 2026 school year. The restriction presents a positive opportunity to enhance student outcomes, both in academic excellence and wellbeing.

Nagle College Launches New STEM Scholarship for Future Innovators
Nagle College Blacktown has announced the launch of the “Christine Howe STEM Academic Scholarship”, a new opportunity designed to support and inspire young women passionate about STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). 🌹 The Month of the Holy Rosary 🌹 Throughout October, our school community has been praying the Holy Rosary each afternoon. Our students have been learning about the Mysteries of the Rosary; the special moments from the lives of Jesus and Mary that help us reflect on God’s love and faithfulness. Each day, we focus on a Mystery, Joyful, Luminous, Sorrowful, or Glorious, and take time to think about what they teach us about hope and faith. Families are warmly invited to send rosary beads to school with their children to enhance this prayerful experience. Having a set of beads provides a beautiful, tactile way for students to connect more deeply with the rhythm and meaning of the Rosary. Together, we continue to grow in faith, reflection, and peace during this sacred month.
